This was an Edwardian reproduction of an earlier design of table.
There were several splits to the top where the wood had become unglued
The polish was also in a bad way.
The legs were loose and required re-gluing.
Repairing the split to the table top.
Infilling the split with a piece of mahogany.
The end result...only noticeable if you’re looking for it!
The finished table with leaves.
