This chiffonier had folded silk door panels, now rather worn, which the customer wanted removing and replaced with wood. The shelving (not shown) was in pieces and broken.

New scrolls had to be made to support the shelves.

I chose a mahogany flame veneer to replace the silk door panels.

Finished flame mahogany doors. The flame veneer really blended in well. I had to stain and distress the panels to blend them in with surrounding wood.
