A dull looking drawer frontage to the damaged and neglected linen press.
The job started with taking the linen press to pieces.
An expensive pile of wood.
Replacing a broken corner with original 18th century mahogany.
: I replaced some of the mortise joints on doors of the press.
Replacing damaged veneer to the press doors.
Beautifully restored. The oil and wax finish brought out the amazing mahogany figured grain on the doors.
