Another auction purchase, it was a nicely proportioned piece of furniture with interesting handles that were damaged.

Walnut is such a beautiful coloured wood and one that I feel benefitted from being French polished.

As you can see, the donor door matched perfectly. I replaced the missing knobs and veneer and after a re-polish the wood grain was superb and vivid.
